The Friday Snap (TFS 23)

I find it impossible to not look down at train stations as there are so many colors, lines, a variety of people and at various times of the day, shadows creating contrast adding mystery to your image.

But just where is the Yellow line?

Hope everyone has a great weekend

Until next time, happy shooting

The Sunday Snap 3

We’re already 3 weeks into the new year and I can’t believe how fast it’s gone. I also completely forgot ‘The Friday Snap’ this week although at the very last minute I rembered the 52 week smartphone challenge

and as you may have guessed by now this weeks theme is Black and White.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone created and I look forward to getting my act together in time for next week’s theme.

Until then, happy shooting

The Friday Snap (TFS 14)

In my neighborhood, a number of large properties have been sold to housing developers. With the over grown grass and junk mail in the letterboxes, the houses which were once homes sit silently to await their fate of meeting the bulldozer in silence. All of them look quite sad like their souls have been torn out!

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Happy Friday.

The Friday Snap (TFS 13)

Contemplated not posting a photo for TFS 13 because of the superstition that surrounds the number, not that I’m supersistious!

Spotted this over size art jacket in a hotel foyer and I did seriously consider climbing in to see if it fitted.

Have a great weekend.

The Friday Snap (TFS 10)

This week sees The Friday Snap go into double figures and there maybe some conjecture that this week’s submission was captured using a smartphone. Let me assure you that it was and it’s all in the crop.

Cropping the image to isolate the subject reduces the number of distractions and focuses the viewer in on the subject.

Don’t be afraid to crop your photos.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

My Son, My Grandson

The last few weeks have been pretty busy as our Son and his partner welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world.

Welcoming this young fella into the world has clarified what’s important in life.

Happy Shooting
